Clubhouse Cinematic Content Creation showcases a variety of creative content videos highlighting the California Clubhouse Community of hope, dignity, & recovery.

This cinematic gallery of videos and reels, such as Clubhouse End Of Year 2023, member interviews, and Cooking with the Clubhouse Crew highlights the unique design of the Clubhouse Model of social and vocational rehabilitation, as well as California Clubhouse's ongoing efforts to 'Empower a Better Tomorrow by Improving Mental Health Today'.

All content showcased and cinematic designs were illustrated by Venezia Vargas during her tenure as Program director of California Clubhouse - a CBO of mental wellness & recovery.

Lived Experiences Artist's Exhibit

The Lived Experiences Artist's Exhibit is a recent project that was established as a fundraising campaign for Clubhouse Giving Day 2023. As the primary manager of the project, I took the lead in orchestrating the fundraising event relevant to the GD campaign, spearheading several plans of action including constructing planning needs for the event, developing a marketing campaign, and building a full contact database. This project showcases the collaborative efforts of a dedicated team to support a meaningful cause.

M E M B E R - T O - M E N T O R S H I P

MEMBER-2-MENTOR is concept pilot idea for a peer-to-peer partnership program. The idea is strategically designed to partner up peers within our organization to further the benefit of both, our services & the journey to each peer's unique path to recovery.

The peer model allows us to maximize the way we utilize our member's strengths and defeat their challenges. Mentors will assist with accessibility and advocacy for resources, employment & education opportunities, as well as finances and sobriety support. Veteran members, as well as members with certain proficient skill sets, will be paired with a carefully selected newer member, or member in need of extra support, and the two will follow a model customized to guide the supporter with tools and directions to mentor their peer partner towards a road of hope, dignity, & recovery.

Included in the concept is, a number of supported education opportunities. Through partnerships, carefully fostered through diligent outreach, the program would include incentives such as; MHA Peer Support Specialist certification, Mental Health First Aid Training, Trauma Informed Care, Motivational Interviewing, Clubhouse Communication Education, guest speakers, and more.

I am pleased to present GENESIS.Ai, a GPT that I have developed personally. This project, initiated by me as a novice without formal education or experience, is powered by OpenAI. GENESIS.Ai boasts an intelligence meticulously designed to excel in the Clubhouse Model—a non-clinical, psychosocial rehabilitative approach. The Clubhouse Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) are making a global impact by offering peer-driven mental wellness and recovery initiatives, significantly contributing to the success in recovery.

GENESIS.Ai has been strategically programmed to assist with a wide range of tasks. These include problem-solving, conflict resolution, outline creation, copywriting, graphic design, logo creation, bookkeeping assistance, financial management, grant writing, development of outreach communications, strategies for donor engagement, and methods for advancing programs and services. Furthermore, it offers standards-adherence assessments, education on the Clubhouse Model, and more.

Specialized areas of knowledge within GENESIS.Ai encompass Federal Grant management, Corporate Sponsorship development, fundraising and campaign strategy, Clubhouse Staff Development, Mental Wellness Advising, Work-Ordered Day problem solving, methods for peer mentorship to foster member-to-member relationship growth, suggestions to enhance community meetings, Cultural Competency, Trauma Informed Care, audit practices, among others.

CA Navigating Behavioral Healthcare Conference - Introducing California Clubhouse

This set of media showcases the slides of a powerpoint presentation, meticulously crafted and presented by Venezia Vargas, during her tenure as Program Director.

Included is a diligent overview of our organization's vision, programs & services, as well as an introduction to the mission of Clubhouses, across all nations. The audience of the Silicon Valley 'Navigating Behavioral Healthcare' 2023 Conference -- (hosted by the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative), received an in depth edu of the variety of unique human centric & peer-empowered recovery techniques seamlessly imbedded into the Clubhouse's key puzzle piece, the Work-Ordered Day.

This project showcases the innovative and impactful work being done at California Clubhouse, and highlights the important topics discussed at the conference, such as MHSA's peer support specialist panelists discussion -- which Venezia too participated in as a panelist!
